Getting in those Greens!

green smoothieYou’ve probably heard it all before but when it comes to living a well balanced lifestyle greens are essential (I can already hear your sighs from here). But fear not my friends getting in those veggies doesn’t have to be a chore in fact this quick and easy green smoothie will have you gulping down those greens with ease! I often find myself CRAVING a cool drink especially on those hot summer afternoons, so with that I jumped into the kitchen (aka my happy place) to whip up the perfect go to green smoothie for you all!

Here is my special recipe….

  • 1 handful of Baby Spinach or Kale
  • 1/2 Granny Smith Apple
  • 1 Banana
  • 1/2 Avocado
  • 1 cup of unsweetened Almond Milk
  • optional sweeten with stevia or honey
  • Top with a sprinkle of Chia Seeds

So there you have it, my perfect go to Green Smoothie!
