Finding the perfect sweet snack can be tricky… many snack bars appear to be good for us but in fact are riddled with hidden sugars that are simply not necessary! If your’e a chocolate lover like myself this Bliss Ball recipe will become your new best friend! Whether you are looking for an afternoon pick me up or a treat for dessert these will be sure to satisfy your choccy craving without all the guilt following!

My secret recipe….. for mint choc bliss balls! (Feel free to change up the flavor combos!)

  • 2 cups of dates (soaked)
  • 1 cup cacao powder
  • 3 cups almond meal
  • 1 1/2 cups buckwheat kernels
  • 1 tsp coconut oil
  • 3/4 cup rice malt syrup
  • 1/4 cup almonds
  • Dash of peppermint oil
  • Shredded Coconut

Begin by soaking the dates in hot water until soft. Next mix all ingredients into a food processor until a rollable dough is formed. Then begin rolling the mixture into even shaped balls, coat with shredded coconut…chill and enjoy!
